Pushing the boundaries, bringing ideas to life and helping the clients I work with do amazing things.

Hello!
It's me you’re looking for.

A lateral thinker and curious problem solver with digital roots. I am happiest when having a good debate about ideas or creating stories and experiences (digital or otherwise) that people want to tweet, blog or shout about.

I’ve had a wide range of experiences in the industry, from project management to creative, working within teams of developers and designers. I have delivered everything from business transformation projects, service design, e-commerce development and apps, through to digitally-led integrated campaigns, games and experiential events.

I prefer bold decisions over boring ones. The only constant in the industry being rapid change, and I work to transform brands whether it's showing how to be moving in the right direction, or readying them for a pivotal leap when timing is right.

With a knack for connecting the dots, I work to solve problems. That's my thing, and it's what I love to do. The ideas I work on solve problems.

I'm currently based between London and New Zealand. Keen to meet interesting folk and like minds, so get in touch if you want to chat!

Sharing the story of New Zealand Education through the ultimate study adventure of a lifetime

I’m all about compelling content-led campaigns that get attention and ultimately traction with their target audiences. Working with the team at Education New Zealand we uncovered the insight that ‘when students know us, they love us’ - a wonderfully positive challenge to have.

We took this insight and made it the focus of our campaign. We looked to harness the passion of international students in NZ and give them the chance to introduce a friend from their home country to their study life in New Zealand, whilst also becoming the eyes and ears for prospective students all over the world.

Entries flooded in from over 100 countries with the top entries coming from China, USA, India, Philippines, Brazil, Malaysia and Indonesia.

During the ten day tour and we followed the adventures of the winning pair Daisy and Cherry’s– recording video diaries, capturing photos and uploading blog stories, with even a few periscope broadcasts and Q&A sessions on Facebook along the way.

The global community were with us every step of the way too, not only helping to selecting the winning pair, but also in planning their trip around New Zealand - voting on the activities and areas they wanted the two to explore.

Encouraging purchasing behaviour and spending with a little bit of Christmas joy.

December in Wellington is one of my favourite times of the year, it means sun, surf and the return of the Wondrous Wellington Advent Calendar.

Like its chocolate relative, this advent calendar is full of goodness. Each day in the lead up to Christmas visitors could explore a beautifully illustrated scene of Wellington searching for doors hidden amongst local landmarks. Behind these doors Wellingtonians could find vouchers and exclusive deals that encouraged them to head downtown and engage with their local businesses.

Voucher redemptions equated to over $160,000 in direct revenue

But, is an advent calendar really an advent calendar without chocolate?

In collaboration with the Wellington Chocolate Factory and Phantom Billstickers we took the Wondrous Wellington Advent Calendar into the real-world!

24 installations were placed around Wellington City, complete with opening doors and hidden chocolate treats.

The two limited edition blocks also proved a great success as chocolate giveaways, hotly contested on Positively Wellington Tourism and their partners social accounts.

Finding an opportunity in tweaking the everyday activities of Fly Buys members

I strive to create innovative experiences that audiences want to engage with. One of my recent projects was an intersection between the digital and physical worlds to create a compelling brand experience for Fly Buys (New Zealand's largest loyalty card). We programmed parking meters in the centre of Wellington to accept a Fly Buys card as payment.

A simple idea, that allowed us to surprise Fly Buys members when they least expected it. Brightening their day, and bringing a 'little bit of good' to a mundane daily activity. I always find it rewarding to see a smile on someone's face.
